In this blog post I’ll show you how to change a behaviour by using your eyes.
So, for this to work you must be clear about the changes you wish to make. Once you have established what it is you want to change look down to your left and ask yourself, “What do I want to do differently?” Give yourself time for the answer to come because it may manifest in words maybe in pictures. With your eyes looking down to your left say to yourself, If I could do that what would it look like?
So, as you say this, lead yourself into looking up to your right. See yourself doing that new behaviour. Notice what happens to you and the effect upon any other people involved.
Step into yourself and with your eyes looking down to your right, feel how it is.This is a central part of your proof procedure because it enables you to gauge your new behaviour and make any necessary adjustments. Cycle round at least three times and make any necessary adjustments or modifications.
Think of a time when you will want to have this choice of behaviour in the future. Perhaps in your business perhaps in your everyday life. Notice the cues that tell you it is time to do this. Imagine yourself in that context and run through the new behaviour in the future.
